HaloX wrote:Awesome! Although I'm kinda sad about the:

"Fix: Don’t play the speech audio effect if the say bubble string is empty."

I had a pretty neat thing going where if a bot was about to be destroyed, he would do keep making that speech sound (like he was malfunctioning) until he exploded. Easy enough to do it another way, though.

HaloX

Perhaps they could add it (and the rest of the object-based soundfx) as programmable sounds?

Excellent Friday additions guys!

More control over "close by" and "far away" is fantastic.

The way they made this patch sound they were saying "nothing big"

If this is nothing big I cannot wait for future patches

Also can we make caves yet? D:

I still really hope to see some better control options for the various bots, especialy in regard to strafing, it's just impossible to make a good FPS if you can't create a character that can strafe left to right using the right analogue stick.

Well, they haven't pushed it into Peer Review yet, so I assume they are still working on fixing bugs/adding features.

Sounds good. What is peer review? Where the higher-ups test it too?

Would my peer review help?

"This patch will be incredibly awesome, I'd put my stamp of guarantee on it!!"

It might help push it along... I'm... how do you say... "kind of important".

Because it's a community game, it needs to go to Peer Review before it is downloadable to XBox live members. People who pay for the XNA subscription can participate in the Peer Review phase. That's where the content ratings for community games come from.

Right?
